12/1/2023 (Permalink)
House floods are detrimental to your New Wilmington, Neshannock, Fredonia, and surrounding area home. Water can flood your home through windows, walls, doors, and ceilings. Floods typically occur through a rainstorm or snow storm. There are ways to prepare your home to avoid floods or to prevent the damage that would normally occur by floods. If you feel as though your home may be susceptible to flooding, we will show you the ways to prepare.
If you can expect your basement to flood, it would be important to store all your belongings in plastic containers that have lids. In addition, you want to install shelves that start at about one foot off of the ground. This will most likely prevent water from reaching your belongings. Also, if your home is common to basement floods, you may want to look into basement waterproofing.
