On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, the Tittabawassee River in Midland County, Michigan reached a historic high point of 35.05 feet. The floodwaters overflowed the Sanford Dam and washed out trees, bridges, homes, and businesses from the township of Edenville, through Sanford, and into the city of Midland.
SERVPRO of Mercer and Lawrence Counties was ready to help at a moment’s notice. We have a specialized group on staff called the “Storm Team” who head out anywhere across the county to help communities affected by large storms or disasters.
Our team packed up semi-trailers, box trucks, and pick-up trucks with emergency supply materials and equipment. From dehumidifiers and air movers to generators and cleaning supplies – our team is as prepared as possible. We bring everything we might need to help residents and businesses to restore their homes, buildings, and belongings to preloss condition.
We specialize in flooding and storm damage restoration. Our team has extensive water damage and storm restoration training that allows us to help get residents and businesses back to normal as quickly as possible. Whatever may happen, and wherever it is, our goal is always the same. To make it, “Like it never even happened.”
