10/5/2017 (Permalink)
What does "storm" mean for Mercer County?
In the wake of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, when most people hear the word "storm," their minds likely go straight to hurricanes and intense tropical storms.
Here in Western Pennsylvania, however, hurricanes are not exactly a primary concern to residents and property owners, as they do not usually have direct effects in this area. So what kind of natural disasters do we need to worry about?
One type of storm situation that can be incredibly dangerous and damaging to property is a tornado. Ask yourself, "How prepared am I for a tornado?" If the answer does not fill you with confidence, SERVPRO of Mercer County would like to help.
